Gault & Co has been built on foundations of community and generosity laid by founder Ramon Mitchell’s great grandparents, who also gave us our name. After emigrating from Scotland, Ramon’s grandfather, Hugh Gault, started producing crops and developed a system that made silos mouse proof, which prevented the devastation caused by the regular mouse plagues that ravaged the local graziers’ crops. Rather than keeping his silos for himself, he shared them with his wider community allowing local farming families to protect their livelihoods.
It’s this spirit that guides all of our work at Gault & Co and has led to the creation of the Gault Giving initiative which sees us donate a portion of all of our fees to charity. We’re giving our clients the power to choose which charity their fee is donated to so they can select a cause close to their heart.
